ITB Asia 2025 Opens with Record Attendance and Vibrant Energy Across MICE and Travel Tech Halls  

The 18th edition of ITB Asia, co-located with MICE Show Asia and Travel Tech Asia, opened with record participation and renewed energy across the show floor.

(Singapore, October 16, 2025) The exhibition halls and conference theatres at Marina Bay Sands were packed with energy as industry leaders, travel professionals and innovators from across Asia gathered to network and explore new opportunities as Day 1 of ITB Asia kicked off the three day annual event. This reflects the growing momentum and innovation shaping Asia’s travel industry and paves the way for an inspiring and impactful event ahead.  

This three-day B2B trade show serves as the essential platform covering all key aspects of the travel trade industry, offering attendees valuable insights and practical takeaways to improve their business operations. Alongside the exhibition, insightful conference sessions are held across three dedicated theatres, fostering business, networking, partnership building, and knowledge exchange.

Mr Alvin Tan, Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry & Ministry of National Development Singapore opened ITB Asia 2025 alongside Mr David Ruetz, Senior Vice President, Messe Berlin and Mr Chi Chuan Poh, Executive Director, Exhibitions & Conferences, Singapore Tourism Board and Ms Katrina Leung, Managing Director and Vice President Asia Pacific, Messe Berlin. Their presence reflects the growing momentum and innovation shaping Asia’s travel industry and paves the way for an inspiring and impactful exhibition ahead.

At the conference, Michael Shoory, Head of APAC Tourism Analysis at Tourism Economics, shared insights on Asia’s growth outlook amid an evolving global market, while Nick Lim, CEO (Asia) of The Travel Corporation, discussed new directions shaping the future of travel experiences.

A Milestone Moment: MOU Signing Ceremonies 

ITB Asia 2025 marked a pivotal step towards the future of travel and tourism with two significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signings  with Tripadvisor and the Singapore Tourism Board marking a significant step in ITB Asia’s journey to champion innovation, experiential travel, and industry collaboration. 

These partnerships underscore ITB Asia’s commitment to shaping the future of tourism through new ideas, deeper connections, and long-term growth.
