Singapore’s Largest Whisky Festival, Whisky Live Singapore Returns 22-23 November 2025
Immersive new experiences, once-in-a-lifetime rarities, exclusive casks – where education meets indulgence for both the spirit novice and the connoisseur
(Singapore, 28 October 2025) Whisky Live Singapore (WLS) returns for its 14th Edition on 22 & 23 November 2025, rekindling the spirit of discovery that has defined it since 2009. Presented by La Maison du Whisky, the two-day tasting festival—Asia’s counterpart to the world-renowned Whisky Live Paris—invites whisky lovers, collectors, and curious newcomers alike to step into a world of exceptional spirits.
This year’s show unveils exclusive releases and rare experiences: the world’s oldest Scotch whisky, Singapore-only casks, and hands-on encounters with some of the industry’s most prestigious names, including Nikka Whisky, Kavalan, Gordon & MacPhail, Elixir Distillers, Signatory Vintage, Blanton’s Single Barrel Bourbon, Willett, Buffalo Trace, Hampden Estate rums, Citadelle Gin and more.

For those who have ever wondered how to taste whisky “properly”, what defines an independent bottler, or the difference between mezcal and tequila, Whisky Live Singapore is a playground for discovery. Visitors can explore through guided tastings and intimate masterclasses led by master distillers, blenders, and brand ambassadors, alongside a passionate community of whisky, rum, and fine spirits enthusiasts.
A New Era for the Region’s Flagship Whisky & Fine Spirits Tasting Show
This year’s edition spans 2,400sqm across two levels at the École Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) Singapore Campus, located at 3 Lady Hill Road, an historic estate transformed into an immersive playground for flavour and education. The event’s venue was carefully chosen to amplify focus on craft, curiosity, and community, underscoring Whisky Live Singapore’s commitment to connoisseurs and a new generation of drinkers—one that values learning as much as tasting.

The VIP-exclusive Zone will feature crowd favourites such as La Maison du Whisky’s Artist Range, debuting its 15th edition line-up; Velier’s Magnum Series #3; the second release in the Nine Leaves range; and exclusives including Chichibu Paris 2025 and The Nikka Limited, an expression symbolising a creative dialogue between Nikka’s former Chief Blender and his successor, making its Asia debut at Whisky Live Singapore ahead of Japan. Guests can also look forward to Blanton’s Single Barrel Paris exclusives, previously only available in Paris and now Singapore—the only two markets in the world to offer them—alongside the Singapore debut of Tormore.
“Whisky Live has always been a reflection of how our region drinks, learns and connects, and this year, we’ve strengthened our concept to facilitate more meaningful connections, ensuring our long-time guests discover new expressions, while first-timers can easily explore and build their appreciation for fine spirits,” says Diego Araud, Managing Director of La Maison du Whisky Asia-Pacific. “While there’s an assumption that the younger demographic drinks less, our experience shows they are simply drinking better. They are curious about what goes on behind the bottles and the stories behind the brands. With nearly 20 years of experience in Singapore, we are uniquely positioned to forge that connection between the drink and the drinker—not through scale, but through storytelling and education. From rare bottles to the people who craft them, to the perfect serve, how to order well at a bar, or how to elevate your drinking experience at home—this edition celebrates not only craft and community, but the future of fine spirits in Asia, and the world.”

Highlights of Whisky Live Singapore 2025
This year’s edition will also feature a rare moment in whisky history—the Singapore debut of the world’s oldest Scotch ever bottled, 85 Years Old from Glenlivet Distillery, released by Gordon & MacPhail. Distilled in 1940 and matured in a single American oak cask for 85 years, this release is eight decades in the making. Only 125 decanters exist worldwide, each drawn from Cask No. 336 earlier in 2025 at a strength of 43.7% ABV. Singapore has secured just two to three bottles, available exclusively through La Maison du Whisky. In celebration of this historic release, Whisky Live Singapore will hold a special raffle, where one lucky winner will have the rare opportunity to taste the liquid itself through a 10ml collector’s vial, valued at S$2,785.
● Acclaimed Japanese whisky house Nikka, founded by Masataka Taketsuru, the Father of Japanese Whisky, celebrates the 40th Anniversary of Nikka From The Barrel with a special “Wishing Wall” inviting guests to envision where they’ll be in 40 years by penning their hopes on traditional ema (Japanese wishing plaques). The showcase also debuts the From The Barrel Extra Marriage—a limited-edition bottling “married” for an additional three months—and the Assortment Set, featuring never-before-tasted Parcels of Grain and Parcels of Malt. Guests are invited to sample From The Barrel and Extra Marriage side by side for a deeper exploration of Nikka’s blending craftsmanship and complexity.

● Blanton's Single Barrel Bourbon will unveil a Singapore-exclusive barrel, debuting at the show, and available only in Singapore. Long-time fans will be pleased to welcome Aaron Lawrence, Global Brand Ambassador for Blanton’s, returning to Singapore for the first time since 2018 to host a VIP-exclusive masterclass on Saturday at 12:30pm, featuring a line-up of Paris-exclusive and Singapore-exclusive Single Barrels.
