Indulge in an evening of curated culinary experiences, captivating performances and unique suite experiences with proceeds from ticket sales being donated to adopted charity Community Chest.

(SINGAPORE, 25 September 2019) This October, Raffles Hotel Singapore is delighted to invite everyone to join in the celebration of its grand reopening at The Raffles Reopening Festival, marking the start of an exciting chapter in the illustrious history and heritage of the iconic property. Festival attendees can revel in delectable gourmet experiences, immerse in captivating performances and exclusive suite experiences, curated especially to showcase what makes the restored hotel so special.

The Festival will take place on Friday, 18th October 2019, from 7PM to 11PM, and will see the legendary hotel transform itself into a lively block party, packed with an exciting line-up of activities and curated experiences all around the property. Tickets for entry are priced at S$300 nett, with full proceeds going to non-profit organisation, Community Chest Singapore. Tickets are not tax deductable.

Exquisite Culinary Experiences

Set amidst the colonial charm of the legendary hotel, guests will be able to indulge in fine gourmet experiences through sampling and tasting portions of various cuisines available at the Hotel. These will be served throughout the event at the Grand Lobby, Tiffin Room, La Dame de Pic, BBR by Alain Ducasse and Raffles Courtyard. Delight in complimentary Champagne Billecart-Salmon Brut Réserve and fine Kristal caviar alongside the opportunity to sip on specially curated bespoke cocktails throughout the night, created specially by our award-winning bartenders. Newly opened Burger & Lobster at Raffles Arcade will also be part of the festivities presenting some signature creations during the evening.

Entertainment Programme

A selection of curated performances promises to be a dazzling celebration of the return of Raffles Hotel Singapore, keeping guests engaged throughout the night.  Guests will enjoy stellar performances of different genres at various spaces within the hotel. Headlining the enlivening entertainment line-up will be beloved homegrown singer Kit Chan, critically-acclaimed “Singapore’s first lady of jazz”, accompanied by a world-class quartet – Rani Singam, renowned international and local jazz singers – Jeremy Monteiro featuring Alemay Fernandez, international Steinway Piano Artists – Anderson and Roe Piano Duo, the biggest Singaporean indie-pop band – The Sam Willows, Singaporean contemporary singer and songwriter – Inch Chua as well as a unique and invigorating performance combining multiple dance genres by Ekta Singapura. Celebrated local artiste Hossan Leong will also perform a stand-up piece at the Grand Lobby of the hotel’s historic Main Building.

Suite experiences

Guests are also invited to take a look inside the luxurious suites at the Main Building, while immersing in delightful suite experiences, ranging from marvelling at the exquisite Raffles Treasures, the collection of arts and antiques at Raffles Hotel Singapore and immersive storytelling adventures by The Storytelling Centre.
