The Ritz-Carlton Bali Welcomes Emmanuel Nelo as Director of Operations

January 24, 2019 The Ritz-Carlton, Bali is thrilled to announce the appointment of Emmanuel Nelo as Director of Operations, responsible for overseeing the operations team at one of the best beachfront hotels in Bali. 

Emmanuel has over 12 years of relevant experience in luxury hospitality and has worked exclusively for The Ritz-Carlton properties across the world since 2006. He cites his experience with the renowned luxury brand as the “inspiration to develop a dynamic mindset, whereby delivering results is equally as important as the growth of team members”. 

“Emmanuel brings an outstanding skill set and wealth of cross-cultural experience to the position of Director of Operations.  Having achieved outstanding results at a diverse range of Ritz-Carlton resorts around the globe he is perfectly positioned to lead the Ladies and Gentlemen of The Ritz-Carlton, Bali into a highly successful and rewarding 2019 and beyond,” says General Manager, Karim TayachEmmanuel first joined the luxury Ritz-Carlton brand as Banquets Supervisor at The Ritz-Carlton Cancun, Mexico and went on to become Banquets Manager, followed by Restaurant & Bar Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Santiago, Chile. He was also part of the team at Al Bustan Palace a Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Oman, as Director of Banquets, and later moved his way up to Assistant Director of Food and Beverage,at The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba. Most recently, he has held the position of Director of Food and Beverage at The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place

Fluent in Spanish and English, Emmanuel’s training led him across the Americas, from graduating with a BA in Hotels and Restaurants Management at Universidad de las Américas Puebla, Mexico in 2003, to New York Bartending School, and Escuela Nacional de Sommeliers, in Santiago, Chile. 

Bringing a balance of experience in both operations and executive roles, Emmanuel is results driven, committed to teamwork and a firm believer in the strong service culture of The Ritz-Carlton, Bali, with its ethos of “Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen”. “I am ecstatic to start 2019 on the wonderful Island of the Gods.
