(Singapore, 22 June 2026) – Water World Ocean Park Hong Kong is turning up the beat this summer with the launch of CANTON BEATS, its biggest retro Cantopop DJ water party to date. Launching on 4 July 2026, the evening event will headline Beat The Summer, the Water Park’s seasonal celebration running from 4 July to 31 August 2026. 

Taking place on selected weekend evenings in July and August, CANTON BEATS will transform Manulife present: Horizon Cove into a high-energy waterfront party destination. Guests can look forward to a rotating line-up of popular DJs spinning nostalgic Cantopop remixes, golden hits and upbeat party tracks, with immersive lighting effects bringing a fresh after-dark energy to the Water Park. 

The first four event nights will feature international guest DJs from across Asia, adding star power to the opening weekends of CANTON BEATS. The line-up includes South Korea’s DJ Sura, known for her high-energy EDM sets, on 4 July; Malaysia’s DJ Amber Na, an online personality with over 17 million followers, on 5 July; DJ KIXON, popular in Mainland China for his crowd-commanding performances, on 11 July; and South Korea’s DJ SunB, a doctor-DJ known for his dynamic live sets, on 12 July.

From classic Cantopop anthems to high-octane remixes, CANTON BEATS captures the sound, colour and collective nostalgia of Hong Kong’s music culture, all within Water World’s seaside setting along the Southern District coastline. With its international guest DJ line-up and retro Hong Kong-inspired atmosphere, the event is designed to appeal to music fans and travellers looking for a distinctive summer experience in the city.

CANTON BEATS forms part of the wider Beat The Summer programme, which brings a vibrant 1980s-inspired Hong Kong theme to Water World Ocean Park Hong Kong. By day, guests can cool off across the Water Park’s indoor and outdoor attractions, including slides, wave pools and leisure experiences. On CANTON BEATS evenings, they can continue the summer fun with music, lights and an upbeat party atmosphere by the water.
