River Wonders celebrates Le Le's first birthday with a Panda-stic Party

(Singapore, 21 July 2022) Le Le, the first Giant Panda cub to be born in Singapore, is turning one this August and River Wonders is marking this milestone with a month-long Panda-stic Party that continues into his parents’ Kai Kai and Jia Jia’s birthday month in September. Born on 14 August last year, Le Le has made a remarkable transformation from a 200-gram mostly hairless and helpless infant, into an almost 30kg furry and feisty bundle of energy.
From 5 August to 11 September 2022, celebrate all things panda at River Wonders with panda-themed activities in an all-new day to night experience.
Pen down your well wishes for Le Le and capture panda-stic memories with our Giant Panda mascots or at the thematic Instagrammable photo points around the park. Get your creative juices flowing at our different craft activity stops and create your own Glo-Art masterpieces.

The fun continues after dark! Be dazzled by the bamboo-inspired birthday cake display which sparks fireworks. Then, let light displays guide you on a stroll along the Amazonia Boardwalk as you discover fun facts about our Giant Pandas. Get a chance to meet some of our animal ambassador stars from the Once Upon a River animal presentation on operating nights. If crafts excite you, check out the LED Canvas Art or Shadow Box Light Art workshops. Be sure to look out for the illuminated art installations by local students.
The Panda-stic Party bundle, which includes admission to the day and night event, starts from $36 and can be purchased online from 21 July 2022. Night offerings run from Fridays to Sundays, eve of Public Holidays and on Public Holidays within the event period. As some of our animal residents need their rest after dark, do note that the Giant Panda Forest and Squirrel Monkey Forest will only be open during the day. Amazon River Quest will also not be operational at night.
