(Jakarta, July 10th, 2020) – Next Wednesday (July 15th, 2020), Indonesia's Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (MoTCE) will host an international webinar for the Singapore and Malaysia market to update Indonesia readiness encountering the new normal travel era especially for Riau Island Province called “Riau Island - Keeping Up and Ready for New Normal”.

The speakers of the webinar will consist of representatives from the MoTCE and tourism stakeholders from Batam and Bintan as follows:
· Mr. Vinsensius Jemadu, MBA. Director for Tourism Marketing Regional I (Indonesia, ASEAN, & OCEANIA) the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia,
· Mr. Abdul Wahab, Group General Manager PT. Bintan Resort Cakrawala,
· Mr. Andika Lim, Chairman of DPD ASITA KEPRI.
The panel will be moderated by Kelvin Ong, Visit Indonesia Tourism Office (VITO) Malaysia. The session will be held for one hour, ended with a question and answer session and a door prize.

This event is part of an International Webinar Series on Indonesian tourism being implemented now by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia.
The purpose of this event are to facilitate industry and key stakeholder meetings through webinar series to keep the industry informed of Indonesia’s readiness in the new normal era, and to maintain connections with industry partners while Indonesia waits for the lift of government policies on travel restriction.
