Herbie Rosenberg - Managing Director of Africareps

Herbie Rosenberg has been involved in African inbound tourism for almost 40 years.  More than 20 of those were as Marketing Director of Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve in South Africa and thereafter about 6 years as a director of Africapass Travel (Pty) Ltd, a Southern African incoming tour operator. 

Since then, managing Africareps  in Australia for about 10 years, where the company represents and markets a comprehensive and prestigious collection of organisations currently covering 8 African countries and islands. Botswana, Kenya, Madagascar, Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, with the Africareps portfolio encompassing resorts, hotels, boutique hotels, game reserves, safari lodges, safari camps, accommodation establishments and tourism product. Africareps is focused on the Australian and New Zealand travel industry. 

Herbie has travelled extensively around the world, but more importantly has visited most of the countries mentioned above as well as has personally visited the majority of the over 100 establishments in his portfolio.

Charles van Rensberg

Charles van Rensburg lives in the heart of southern Africa, and has immersed himself in a career in conservation, wildlife, and safari excursions. Now the Business Manager of Wilderness Safaris, Charles remains an advocate of respectful encounters with wildlife and is a fervent believer in protecting the places where the lions rule the land. Raised in South Africa, he studied Conservation through a correspondence university course. Whilst doing that, he worked for an anti-poaching unit in the great Kruger National Park, protecting state-owned and privately owned land from the scourges of poaching.
