From elephants and clouded leopards to pangolins, sambars, and the elusive kouprey, the collection interprets the elegance, vitality, and strength of these extraordinary creatures through sculptural, contemporary furniture.
The Bill Bensley Collection for McGuire embodies the brand’s modern, boundary-breaking design ethos, transforming raw, elemental materials into sculptural forms that honor both nature and craft. Spanning tables, seating, and accent pieces, the collection showcases rich, organic textures—black and brown petrified wood with its ancient strength, luminous crystal white agate reminiscent of rainforest waterfalls, sandblasted oak that reveals the beauty of natural grain, and handwoven rattan carefully steam-bent by artisans in a nod to McGuire’s heritage. These materials are woven together in bold yet functional designs, creating pieces that are as much art as they are furniture..

Internationally acclaimed for his bold and imaginative approach, Bensley is an architect, landscape architect, and interior designer. Through his Bangkok- and Bali-based studios, BENSLEY, he has developed a distinctive design language that blends storytelling, heritage craft, and sustainability. From tented camps in the Cardamom Mountains to celebrated resorts across Asia, his work consistently demonstrates a vision of luxury that coexists with conservation, aligning seamlessly with McGuire’s philosophy of naturally luxurious design.

“This collection for McGuire is a love letter to the wild,” says Bensley. “The life of the Cardamoms is reflected throughout each piece—from elephants and leopards to civet cats, monkeys, and pangolins—each with its own story. Witnessing the dedication of rangers and conservationists during my travels has inspired me to capture the essence of this sanctuary in every design. McGuire shares my appreciation for the natural world and from the beginning, they understood this vision and it was never just about creating beautiful furniture, but about celebrating these creatures and highlighting the urgent need to protect their home.”
Reflecting McGuire and Bensley’s shared commitment to conservation, proceeds from the collection, exhibitions, art classes, and collaborative events will benefit the Shinta Mani Foundation, supporting programs that protect wildlife and foster community development in Cambodia.

• The Tiny Serow - Inspired by the antelope-like serow found in Asia, The Tiny Serow has strong, yet delicate, metal legs. Featuring a fossilized brass finish, these legs support a tray-shaped top carved from a solid block of petrified wood. (right)
• The Wild Elephant’s Cocktail Table - The Wild Elephant’s Cocktail Table has the robust presence of its namesake, with four distinctive feet made from cast resin and a smooth crystal agate top. Designed to be used in multiples and can be stacked with the coordinating side table.
• The Clouded Leopard’s Commode - The Clouded Leopard’s Commode is skillfully handcrafted from sandblasted oak. A decorative walnut veneer inlay spans across four drawers, forming the abstract face of a jungle cat in a striking and memorable image.
