The Weekend Festive Afternoon Tea at Pan Pacific Singapore
Immerse yourself in a world of enriching and inspiring experiences this festive season
(Singapore December 8, 2025) The Culinary Team at Pan Pacific Singapore encourages you to “Immerse yourself in a world of enriching and inspiring experiences this festive season at Pan Pacific Singapore.” This is exactly what Farah and I did on the weekend. I have long enjoyed the lounge at the Pan Pacific Singapore. It has an atmosphere of sophistication and when you dine at Emporium you can enjoy one of its more attractive features. In the pods with the circular seats around the table you enjoy a measure of privacy as you feel cocooned, but not isolated.

Another of its more attractive features is the staff. They are engaging, personable and professional. They clearly explain your options from the extensive ‘Weekend Festive Afternoon Tea Menu’. They quickly bring drinks and dishes, they laugh and chat and encourage and suggest. They are a delight.
As it was ‘Afternoon Tea’ we carefully choose a ‘tisane’ tea from the list that included Black and Green teas. Tisanes are made by steeping herbs, flowers, fruits, seeds, bark or roots in hot water. Free of caffeine they wouldn’t keep us awake. And I found the Vanilla Bourbon satisfying – along with the glass of champagne and welcome drink ‘Cinnamon Spark’.

If you prefer coffee to tea, you have not been forgotten. There is cappuccino, latte, flat white, Americano, and Mochaccino. And for the holiday season, hot chocolate. Also available are short, decaffeinated and cold options.
While the drinks are diverting don’t let them keep you from the buffet. Farah went first to the sushi while I went to the hot lights where Traditional Roasted Turkey Breast awaited me. Add Chestnut Stuffing and Cranberry Reduction and my senses went back to many Christmas dinners when I’ve enjoyed these treats.

Your Christmas traditions may be different so there is more to load your plate with: Master Butcher’s Pork Roulade with Winter Vegetables and Festive Beef Wellington. And you are encourage to sample all of them. Sample, but don’t stuff yourself as you should have a bowl of Penang Prawn Noodle Soup. It is a bit of a sidestep from a Western Christmas Dinner, but it has the tang that many Singaporeans enjoy.

As this is Afternoon Tea there are many bite size bites to enjoy. The Savouries include Salmon and Cheese Roulade, Apple and Walnut Savoury Tart and Breaded Ham and Cheese Sandwich. There are more selections available, but why take the surprise out of your experience.
The Earl Grey Lavender Log Cake caught Farah’s eye, but then she passed it to me as she was taken by the other sweet sweets such as Lemon Hazelnut Madeleine. The Hazelnut Passion Fruit Log Cake may catch your eye as will the six tiny tempting bites set out to break any silly diets you may be on at this time of the year. But your resistance may have already been broken by the Sticky Toffee Pudding with Berry Compote, Vanilla Sauce and Ice Cream of the Day.

By the time you leave you will know Executive Chef Andy Oh words are true: “Every dish is an art, plated with finesse, creativity, and passion.’ This festive season, we invite you to witness our chefs at work and experience the artistry that defines our culinary offerings. Join us at Pan Pacific Singapore for a truly memorable Christmas celebration."
