Inaugural Brunei Week Launches in Singapore
Featuring Brunei Pavilion with More Than 20 Bruneian Made Brands
(Singapore Spetmember 5, 2025) The High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam, Her Excellency Hajah Noor Qamar Binti, along with the Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB) has launched the inaugural Brunei Week at Suntec City Convention Centre. The Opening Ceremony was held in front of a special Brunei pavilion showcasing 20 Bruneian brands.
Her Excellency said that she hopes these products will find a permanent spot in kitchens across Singapore as mealtime complements. “We have long standing ties with Singapore, and we plan to deepen and expand them. 
Proudly supported by Royal Brunei Airlines as the strategic partner, the event is housed under the auspices of MakBesar ’s Grand Market 2025. Brunei Week features many first-time brands entering Singapore. You have the opportunity to sample and purchase many of these Bruneian made products.
Brunei products aim to woo foodie Singaporeans with easy–to cook tastes of Brunei sauces and Brunei’s well – loved shrimp and fish crackers. Food sampling and the sale of the ‘Flavours of Brunei’ is to be held at MakBesar’s Grand Market @ Suntec 2025, Singapore.

Beyond Brunei Week, BEDB is working with Singaporean distributors and retailers to make the products accessible to Singaporeans after Brunei Week. Meat Aliyah Rizq Pte Ltd and Lim Siang Huat Pte Ltd have both signed agreements and have active shipments of Brunei products entering Singapore. 
The Grand Market by MakBesar takes place from September 5-7, 2025, at the Suntec Convention Centre, Halls 401–403. The event runs from 12:00pm to 10:00pm and features various vendors, food, and family entertainment. Fentry for all visitors.
