(Singapore, 5 November 2020) Thai Vietjet continues to expand its flight network in Thailand with the inauguration of a new route connecting Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) with Surat Thani, a province in the lower southern Gulf of Thailand, including traveler’s favorite islands of Koh Samui. In addition, the airline also officially announced its upcoming new service connecting the northern province of Chiang Mai and Nakhon Si Thammarat in southern Thailand starting 30 November, 2020.

The inaugural flight VZ350 today safely landed in Surat Thani with warm greetings from Mr. Witchawut Jinto, Governor of Surat Thani Province, Mr. Sathirawat Ponnark, Vice President of Thai Vietjet, leaders of Surat Thani International Airport and Tourism Authority of Thailand Surat Thani Office. On this occasion, the airline brought passengers an exciting Lucky Draw to win free air tickets, be treated to a special onboard performance and received special corporate souvenirs.

The Bangkok - Surat Thani service operates daily return flight starting November 4, 2020 with flight duration of around 1 hour 15 minutes for each leg. The flight departs from Suvarnabhumi International Airport at 9:30 and arrives in Surat Thani at 10:45; the return flight takes off from Surat Thani at 11:15 and arrives in Bangkok at 12:45 (All in Thai local time). 

In celebration of the new routes, the airline is also offering a ticket promotion with fares as low as THB0 (excluding taxes and fees) applied on all of its Thai domestic routes from today until November 8, 2020.
