Singapore, September 2018 - InterContinental® Singapore Robertson Quay is delighted to announce the appointment of its new General Manager, Tania Getzova.
An accomplished hotelier with over 20 years of experience, Tania has held various General Manager and leadership roles across luxury and boutique hotels in New York, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge in luxury hotel operations, strategy and business acumen. She joins the hotel from the award-winning Hotel Indigo® Lower East Side New York, where she was the opening General Manager since 2014 and instrumental in establishing the property as a flagship for the Hotel Indigo brand under IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group®).
Tania’s first foray into Asia sees her helming the team at InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay, comprising of 225 studios and suites, as well as an array of leading dining outlets. Having established itself as an integral facet of the Robertson Quay landscape, the luxury hotel continues to uniquely position itself in one of Singapore’s chicest and most vibrant neighbourhoods, paving the way for the next generation of InterContinental Hotels & Resorts across the region.
Commenting on her appointment, Tania remarked, “I’m delighted to lead the dedicated team at InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay into their second year of operation. An explorer by nature, Tania loves experiencing new destinations and restaurants, a passion which she has strengthened by playing an active role in the local community around her hotel wherever she goes. Through the insights and insider experiences gained, she encourages a spirit of collaboration amongst her team focused on sharing these insights and enhancing the destination experience for guests.
A Bulgarian native, Tania is fluent in English, French and conversant in Russian. In her spare time, Tania unwinds through meditation and working out, and is an ardent fan of the opera and arts.
