(Jakarta, November 20, 2023) Following the success of the Garuda Indonesia Travel Fair (GATF) event in Indonesia's seven major cities in October, national airline Garuda Indonesia has organized the first International Garuda Indonesia Travel Fair (GATF) in three countries at the same time: Hong Kong (China), Singapore, and Seoul (South Korea).

At the International GATF, Garuda Indonesia presented various attractive offers in the form of ticket discounts of up to 80% and additional 10% discounts with Mandiri Credit & Debit Cards and via Livin' Sukha to various exotic destinations in Indonesia offered during the GATF period, namely November 20-26, 2023 for travel periods valid until November 25, 2024.

These attractive offers can also be accessed through Garuda Indonesia travel agent partners, the FlyGaruda application, the website www.garuda-indonesia.com, and Livin' Sukha Mandiri.

The implementation of the International GATF in these three countries is the first of its form, according to Irfan Saputra, President and CEO of Garuda Indonesia. It is a manifestation of Garuda Indonesia's commitment as the national flag carrier to maximize support for domestic tourism, particularly in terms of providing safe and comfortable flight services. Particularly from Hong Kong, Singapore, and Seoul to several main tourist destinations in Indonesia, with various enticing promotional deals.

"Optimizing various peak season periods at the end of the year, and in the coming 2024, it is hoped that this International GATF event can increase the level of foreign tourist visits to Indonesia through the availability of attractive offers to enjoy the yearend holidays in various destinations in Indonesia via direct flights from Hong Kong, Singapore, and Seoul," explained Irfan.

Garuda Indonesia not only offers discounted fares but also a variety of other enticing offerings at the International GATF. These include a Welcome Bonus of 2023 miles for new members and 600 miles for new GarudaMiles Junior members who register during the GATF implementation period, a 30% discount on ticket purchases using GarudaMiles, and special additional discounts of up to 80% on Prepaid Baggage purchases during GATF.

Irfan continued that the implementation of International GATF is also the company's effort to continue optimizing performance growth in line with the achievement of the implementation of GATF 2023 in seven major cities where Garuda Indonesia managed to offer at least 30 thousand flight seats with special offers.

Furthermore, as part of Garuda Indonesia's commitment to enhancing flight accessibility from various countries to Indonesia, from November to December, Garuda has increased the frequency of various international flight routes. This step aims to offer a range of alternatives for international tourists traveling to Indonesia.

Currently, Garuda Indonesia operates several flight routes to and from major Indonesian cities, including Jakarta and Bali, to Hong Kong, Singapore, and Seoul. These cities serve as hubs, enabling foreign tourists to connect to various Indonesian destinations through safe and comfortable flight services.

"In addition to accommodating the increasingly competitive accessibility of flight services for international passengers, we hope that hosting the 2023 International GATF can catalyze bolstering the growth of international tourist movements towards Indonesia," concluded Irfan.
