Vancouver is a destination that offers something different during its four seasons
( 14 October 2024, Singapore) At Canadian Thanksgiving today, award-winning airline Air Canada’s team in Asia expresses its thanks and gratitude for the strong support of the airline’s Singapore-Vancouver route launched in April 2024.
Since launch, this route has proved to be popular, thanks to the backing of travel enthusiasts and media partners in Singapore. The airline is excited to provide more of its award-winning service and a seamless travel experience between the two cities with an additional flight for the upcoming winter peak travel period. Air Canada’s non-stop flights to Vancouver also links Singapore with convenient connections to other Canadian destinations and beyond.
“This new route has seen strong demand across all the key markets of corporate and business travel, leisure, and visiting family and friends,” said Kiyo Weiss, Senior Director of Sales for the Asia-Pacific at Air Canada. “Our strategy includes opening up new connections to Canada from Asia Pacific and especially Southeast Asia, via Singapore’s Changi Airport hub, with travellers enjoying a short stopover in Singapore before flying onward to Vancouver,” she added.
Ranked as one of Forbes’ 100 Best Cities to Visit in 2023, Vancouver is fast becoming a popular choice for Singapore travellers and beyond.
“Our downtown Vancouver hotels are sending joyful wishes this Canadian Thanksgiving. We look forward to welcoming travellers from Singapore to celebrate autumn in the city and enjoy Vancouver’s warm hospitality,” said Kristine Sigurdson, Director of Marketing, Vancouver Hotel Destination Association & Stay Vancouver Hotels.
